We were able to make a one day trip to Dallas to meet our new grandson. The time was way too short. Liz seems to be doing great for all she has been through....Hope she can squeeze in some rest and recuperation time. I know they are all so happy and proud, as they should be. He is a precious baby boy.

READY FOR SPRING

This picture was taken in 2007 just before we moved to Oklahoma. Actually it was my 60th birthday dinner in Hot Springs Village. That was 3 years ago. Time just flies by so quickly. We will have been married 4 years this month March 30th. We have had a rough time the last 2 years with health problems, but it just makes us really appreciate our health when we have it.

Spring is in the air. I hope it soon will be here to stay. We are ready to be outside working and playing and enjoying the fresh air. We have many projects lined up to do this year along with just general maintanence. We can't wait to get started.

We are thankful most of all that Ken is feeling better. This year he will be able to do more things outside and enjoy life as long as he continues to feel good.

We had a new grandson born last October - Aidan Joshua Bibb in Australia. Soon we will have another new grandson in Texas - Joseph Kenneth Bibb.

Life is good and all is well.

AL'S 85TH BIRTHDAY DINNER

I made a fast trip to Wichita for Al's 85th birthday dinner at Sweet Basil. I was not feeling up to going, but decided to at the last minute. I forgot my camera (along with a lot of other things) so this is the only picture I have to post. Thank you, Jane for sending this one. I think Al was definitly surprised.

I headed back home on Saturday after a short visit with some of my friends. Missed seeing Angie, Luke, and the boys, but they had plenty going on that weekend.

BUSTER

Sunday, January 17, 2010, Buster left us. He was 16 years old and such a special dog and buddy. He had not been feeling good for quite some time, and now at least he is not hurting any more. We will miss him so much. I am so glad that I arrived back home Saturday evening the 16th so that we could both be with him on his last day here.

Buster was quite the character when he was younger. He loved to play ball, tug of war, lay on the couch with Ken, and I think he was the leader of the pack whenever there were any other dogs in the family. He was a blessing to us and to Ken for many, many years.

ANGIE'S BIRTHDAY WEEK

This week was a very full week. Luke (Angie's husband) was on a mission trip in Liberia. Angie needed some help, so I had a few wonderful days with her and the boys. It happened to be Angie's birthday, so we were able to celebrate with some of the rest of the family. These are just some of the pictures that were taken while I was there. It also happens to be my friend Sharon's birthday tomorrow, so while I was there, I was able to at least go to lunch once with her for her birthday.

Lunch with Onn on my last day in Kansas. We had a great visit!

Ben took a great picture of us with Luke's parents Jean and Don.

It was great to see Sue!

Jacob made his mom a special gift too.

We also enjoyed two kinds of birthday cake. Onn had brought an ice cream cake and it was delicious.

Before cake, we enjoyed a dinner out.

We met Jane, Ray, and Al at the Outback Steakhouse.
