I have never blogged before and never thought I would, but here I am. I am not quite sure what to do or how to do it, so this will be a new adventure for me. Bear with me as I begin my journey.
I love the beauty of God's creation and these last 2 days have been extra beautiful in the midst of a storm (ice storm that is). Freezing rain, sleet, and some snow have made a winter wonderland. We have been able to watch the beautiful birds of all sizes and colors come together to enjoy a feast in our front yard along with fresh water in their bird bath for drinks. Today the sun has come out so that the ice is glistening on the branches, the fence, and even the blades of grass. The horses in the back pasture occasionally let out a whinny. Our pups notice all the new smells and white beneath their feet as they romp in the cold (especially Nicky, as Buster is more of a warm weather dog).
As for Ken and me, we stay snuggled in the warm house (except for an occasional romp outside for me with Nicky). Ken is enjoying his new guitar along with other warm, inside activities while I listen to music, read, accomplish some projects, and now begin my new journey in blogging.
