ANGIE'S BIRTHDAY WEEK

This week was a very full week. Luke (Angie's husband) was on a mission trip in Liberia. Angie needed some help, so I had a few wonderful days with her and the boys. It happened to be Angie's birthday, so we were able to celebrate with some of the rest of the family. These are just some of the pictures that were taken while I was there. It also happens to be my friend Sharon's birthday tomorrow, so while I was there, I was able to at least go to lunch once with her for her birthday.

Lunch with Onn on my last day in Kansas. We had a great visit!

Ben took a great picture of us with Luke's parents Jean and Don.

It was great to see Sue!

Jacob made his mom a special gift too.

We also enjoyed two kinds of birthday cake. Onn had brought an ice cream cake and it was delicious.

Before cake, we enjoyed a dinner out.

We met Jane, Ray, and Al at the Outback Steakhouse.

NEW YEAR'S EVE - FINAL POST 2009

Three generations. We are at the airport ready to head home.

Here it is the end of 2009. I began this blog January 2009 not really knowing anything about having a blog. What I have learned is that there are no rules. You can do most anything you want to do. It is unique to each individual and it is fun.
This will be my last post for this year as it is New Year's Eve, and in a couple of hours it will be 2010. I thought I would just post some more of the pictures of our trip to Australia, but I have only gotten one to post. Oh well, we have had a fun year. Hope you have enjoyed sharing some of our adventures with us. We will visit again in 2010. "HAPPY NEW YEAR"

CHRISTMAS AND CHRISTMAS EVE BLIZZARD

Christmas this year was our trip to Australia. Steve and Cindy sent us this book with many pictures and memories in it. What a great job you did, Cindy putting it together for us. Last year for Christmas, Liz made a special grandparents' book with many pictures and memories of Hailey. These books are such great gifts. Thank you for the memories that we will enjoy always and forever.

We went from spring time weather in Australia to winter here in Oklahoma. This is Nicky (our snow dog) enjoying Christmas morning in the snow.

THE CHRISTMAS SEASON IS UPON US

Jesus is the reason for the season!

God provides in special ways. Just this past weekend, He provided us with a Christmas tree at $70.00 off the original price, and with $220 - $230 worth of ornaments free of charge.

This tree is the perfect size for our small living room, with plenty of view left to see through our windows.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS"
May each of your lives, be filled with His peace, joy, and love.

AUSTRALIA HOLIDAY 2009

Surprise!! Steve's 40th birthday party. Cindy asked us to come to be his surprise - and he was definitely surprised. Great job, Cindy!

Our first chance to hold our grandsons Owen 2 1/2 years and Aidan 4 weeks. What a special 3 weeks we had.

Maryann and Patricia took us to Arthur's Seat

Grandma and Aidan watching Owen decorate the tree.

And here he is - Owen Christopher Bibb himself - having a ball decorating for Christmas. He hung the balls and ornaments like a big boy. Then he later took some of them off so he could do it again.
There are so many pictures that I cannot even begin to show them all. Besides enjoying Steve, Cindy, Owen, and Aidan immensely - Cindy's family were all terrific. We couldn't have asked for a better time or more special folks to be with.
Thanks for everything, Steve, Cindy, Ted, Maryann, Lisa, Bruce, Patricia, and Claire and the rest of the family and friends that made Steve's party a special surprise.
